Guest Nanshoku-Samurai Posted December 3, 2007 Report Posted December 3, 2007 Hello all, I just wondered what others were thinking about this one here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %26fvi%3D1 I do not think that it is Kamakura. For sure it wants to look like a Koto Soshu blade but I think it shows Mino influence. I would want to think that it is a Shinto made Mino piece. What do others think? Max Quote
Bungo Posted December 3, 2007 Report Posted December 3, 2007 personally I think the price is very attractive......regardless of the mei milt the flying ronin Quote
pcfarrar Posted December 3, 2007 Report Posted December 3, 2007 I thought it looked like an Osaka Shinto blade. Quote
Jean Posted December 3, 2007 Report Posted December 3, 2007 I agree with Milt at 100%. It was a bargain I'll go for shinshinto copy of a Soshu koto blade (because it has seldom been polished - visible from the picture taken from above the munemachi -) , the hada is incredibly tight and very fine. A lot of activity, tobiyaki ... It has been taken back from the auction by the Seller because he was offered a large sum of money .... Quote
pcfarrar Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 Yet another  http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320191756155 Quote
Bungo Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 I like the other one better, but the box is intriguing....... milt the flying ronin Quote
Jean Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 Could it be a booby trap ? Nevertheless without any interest, too much kizu Gimei for Gimei, I prefer this one : http://cgi.ebay.com/Japanese-Samurai-Sw ... dZViewItem :D :D Much cheaper and what a blade ....... Quote
