Hi, I am Jeff, and new here & would like some help if you could please in deciphering the inscriptions on a sword I own.

I believe it is a Kai Gunto Naval Sword, I have some images attached....

Nice fittings! Seki stamped so not traditionally made. Will have to look up signature when I get back home for confirmation , but ? ? Kanesada(?) saku

Kanesada (兼定), Shōwa (昭和, 1926-1989), Gifu – „Kanesada“ (兼定), civilian name „Okada Sadao“ (岡田定男), born September 9th 1905, he worked as guntō smith and died September 1st 1966
