First Time Translating Origami

Struggling through my first translation and my head's starting to hurt.  Here's what I have so far for the front of my NTHK origami:

Although I'm learning a lot, any hints or assistance will be greatly appreciated!

Dang I'm a noob as I can't make a spoiler tag...

 

Column 4 正真 Shoshin (genuine) 長さNagasa (length)

 

Column 3 your blanks are the smith 近江守継平 Omi no Kami Tsuguhira. Sandai means 3rd generation.

 

You can find him from Seskos Swordsmith index for example. I'm at my parents so I can't give you the detailed information of the smith.

 

It's great that you have tried translating the origami by yourself, it's always a good learning experience. Now you know how this side of the paper usually reads out and where to look for the attribution.

You are very good at Kanji, so I dare to point out precise meanings.

 

Column 1;

"書 (sho)" in the context does not mean Calligraphy but Paper.

 

Column 3;

"伝 (Den)" in the context does not mean School but "attributed to ..." or "thought to be ...".

Thank you very much for the assistance!  In the proper context the translations are far more nuanced than I thought.  There's no way I could have figured that out on my own.
