bullpuppy Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 The seller just listed them on ebay. http://stores.ebay.com/scarceantiques_W ... QpZ3QQtZkm I actually visited him and saw some of them but time constraints prevented me from examining them. The number of them is over welling for me and I do not have the experience to make any judgments quickly. In my brief discussions with the seller he is willing to deal and will sell face to face for cash. Quote
Brian Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 That is Christian...a member of some of the other forums. I have dealt with him before, and he is a decent guy. He finds LOTS of swords through contacts he has, and comes across some very nice stuff. The best he keeps for his own collection, but he always has a huge variety of stuff for sale. IMHO..Easy to deal with, and pleasant. Brian Quote
Minister Amos Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Neat story too. Can you guys imagine how many good ones (and junky ones) must have passed thru SD on the way home? Tim, are you doing full Kosh on the sword you bought from Peter? I'm just asking because I'm looking for someone to handle the koshirae of a dai-sho for me. I don't want to ship it to Japan. Quote
DavidF Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Most of this stuff looks gimei or junk. Some interesting findings but not really worth the prices he's asking, IMHO. It would take a lot of money to get more of this stuff into reasonable condition. DaveF. Quote
