Hi All

Can anyone give me any information on a Shin Shinto smith who signs Nontonoshi Furuzaw Hachisaemon Yoshimasa.

I am doing some research and can't seem to find out much about him.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Markus' book (a must have) says:

Yoshimasa (義正), Kaei (嘉永, 1848-1854), Tosa – „Furuzawa Hachizaemon Yoshimasa“ (古沢八左衛門義正), „Tosa no Kuni-jū

Ketsu´unken Furuzawa Yoshimasa rokujūsai kore o tsukuru“ (土佐国住決雲軒古沢義正六十歳造之, „made by Ketsu´unken Furuzawa

Yoshimasa from Tosa province at the age of 60“), „Nando no shi Furuzawa Hachizaemon Ketsu´unken Yoshimasa“ (南土之士古沢

八左衛門決雲軒義正, „Furuzawa Hachizaemon Ketsu´unken Yosimasa, retainer of southern Tosa“), „Furuzawa Hachizaemon Ketsu´unken

Yoshimasa“ (古沢八左衛門決雲軒義正), civilian name „Furuzawa Hachizaemon“ (古沢八左衛門), gō „Ketsu´unken“ (決雲軒), he was a

student of Nankai Tarō Tomotaka (朝尊) and of Taikei Naotane (大慶直胤)
