Nobody Posted August 13, 2007 Report Posted August 13, 2007 Here; 現 (* means Gendaito) 重則 (Shigenori) Era: Showa Province: Akita Value: 1,000,000 Yen Examples of mei: “Shigenori (重則)â€, “Nishimonai ju Shigenori kinsaku kore (西馬音内住重則謹作之)†Real name: Sato Goro (佐藤五郎) He was born in 1876 (Meiji 9th yr.) in 大流河 (* do not know its correct reading). He became a pupil of Shibata Ka (柴田果) in around 1929 (Showa 4th yr.) and stood on his own in 1940 (Showa 15th yr.). He died in 1951 (Showa 26th yr.). Quote
