Mei in image is very faint and seems incomplete. Can you post a photo of the whole nakago, with light that highlights the mei better?

 

Looks like 備州長船平? — Bishū Osafune Taira something, but the "something" is hard to read and doesn't seem like a very good match to the few smiths recorded as signing with that exact string.
