I would like to announce that a fellow sword collector had created a website

which should serve as a platform for collectors and interested private individuals

of Japanese swords, sword fittings, and armour, who would like to sell them to

other private collectors.

Nice looking site, wish them luck and will add to the links section. Two things though:

The site says how collectors can sell their stuff to other collectors, but doesn't mention if this is a free service or if/what costs are involved. The same with the translations offered.

Also, browsing through a few of the high end tsuba...whenever I see a "price on application" I just close the page. I am sure most people do the same. For serious sales...post a price.

Thanks for the input Brian.

The "price on application" is already changed at the German site. So the actual

prices should be updated also on the English site too (I will forward this for an

update). I will check that with the fee too and report back.

thank you for your help and thank you that you will list the homepage at the commercial links. The prices has been updated at the English sites.

The fees for the translation service depends on the translation and the price of the service will told after asking.

There are low costs/fees for the selling service but that depends on the items and will also be told after contacting and asking.
