Lindus Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 Many years ago Dr Graham Curtis wrote an article re the evolution of Bizen Hamons,Choji. Does any member have this as would be interested to read again. Quote
nagamaki - Franco Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 Hello, sorry, while it's not the article being requested, you may still want to check out this excellent article "The development of Bizen Choji"- by Craig Bird http://www.swordforum.com/forums/showthread.php?19595-The-development-of-Bizen-Choji-article-by-Craig-Bird Quote
Lindus Posted September 2, 2012 Author Report Posted September 2, 2012 Thanks Franco & Paul for the PM, Geriant has just dropped his copy off. Sometimes NMB is quite like Amazon in the rapid delivery Thanks again. Roy Quote
Curran Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 The Craig Bird article is worth the price of a copy of the Art & Sword Vol 1. The illustrations are helpful. The Yasumitsu in the article: A monster at just over 36", with 3 types of hamon (basically Grandfather's, father's, and his own) and 3 types of utsuri. Change is even. Every 12 inches, smooth transition to a different hamon and utsuri. Sort of a mad master performance in 1 sword. Quote
