NihontoEurope Posted August 23, 2012 Report Posted August 23, 2012 Hi all, I want to ask you if anyone of you know anything of an appraisal group during the EDO period, the ORIGAMI or group is supposedly called "SHOAMI". Perhaps I misspelled... I'm trying to find it on the internet, but it fails me. In the book "Japanese Swords" Nobuo Nakamara does mention "SOEJO", "TOMECHO", /Martin Quote

NihontoEurope Posted August 25, 2012 Author Report Posted August 25, 2012 Thank you Morita, I have studied the Nakamara bok and some info on the internet. Tomecho was a register as I interpreted which, as you said, was destroyed in fire. /Martin Quote
k morita Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 Original Tomecho was written with the brush. Attached pic is a Tomecho published before the earthquake. Quote
