    My only suggestion would be, to go to one of the dealers or sword shows in USA. There you have the opportunity to take the sword in your hand and talk to people. With this budget you have many opportunities.

  5. first shure not ww2 time, but older i think. You dont find so many Wakizashis with Koshiare in WW2 time. Second pictures of the Nakago helps a lot and third before you buy you should first learn about Nihonto. regards Oli

  11. Hi, i think most books from this time are incomplete, the best is i think shinshinto-shi from Markus Sesko. It goes a little bit into Meiji and Taisho time. But not so much. Maybe one time, i hope, the gendaito-shi released. Regards Oli

  16. You startet it with disinformation, i think you say fake news in USA. And yes there also nice Blades from Koto or Edo Time. Not shure what your problem is, but this shouldn't discuss here.

  19. You can read the book shinshinto-shi from Markus Sesko, there is a lot information about the smith Masahide, and the smiths he influenced. Regards Oliver
