sorry i am not a native english speaker/writer, only use it for my IT job. To study i mean, learn more about the smith, the school, the time he made it and compare with other smiths, school, time. To learn the historical significance you have to invest time, what you don't wont. And please don't forget to maintain and take care of the sword, if you buy one of this rare and expensive one.

So where is no need to have to pay so much money for this usecase. Personally i would study this sword and don't only display it. It would be a waste to have a so high level sword only for display.

My only suggestion would be, to go to one of the dealers or sword shows in USA. There you have the opportunity to take the sword in your hand and talk to people. With this budget you have many opportunities.

first shure not ww2 time, but older i think. You dont find so many Wakizashis with Koshiare in WW2 time. Second pictures of the Nakago helps a lot and third before you buy you should first learn about Nihonto. regards Oli

Maybe make better photos and then maybe an expert, better than i, would answer. Complete blade and details of Hamon, Hada, Nakago and Boshi.

Hi, i think most books from this time are incomplete, the best is i think shinshinto-shi from Markus Sesko. It goes a little bit into Meiji and Taisho time. But not so much. Maybe one time, i hope, the gendaito-shi released. Regards Oli
