i got it fully tightened and the threads are coming through the mekugi backing ring n digging my hand a bit. Should I back it off or what? is the mekugi supposed to sit more loose with it not cranked down?? or are my threads too long?

I got the mekugi bolt from Don, but I'm unsure how to install/tighten it.

thanks for that ebay link, that was astounding that you even found that bolt so fast. I'm all over it. I messaged the guy and he has them for sale still. Will order in a week or two when i get a couple extra bucks. should i paint the mekugi bolt a flat black color or leave it be?
