    Hi All, Guard Girl back again to pick your brains. i was looking at this big heavy guard and wondered if it was a 'yagyu' type? It measures 6.95cm× 6.8cm thickness 0.55cm and 95g thanks again! Dee

    Real interesting idea Dan! I found this in an Japanese auction and I'd bet money it's sandcasted (but not the 138 bucks they want!)
