TAN stamp, and very forged look

I wanted to discuss this blade and the "rare" gunto stamp. the tip has been reduced and the owner is out of town till after the auction ends so I can not get pictures to see if there is enough boshi to repair. This is the first time I have seen the Tan stamp and you can definately see the many layers almost a damascus. I am curious about the process on this, who made it, would the blade be high quality? The nakago has a wave in it and I am curious if perhaps this is just a poorly made forged blade.

 

Secondly I know there are some gunto people on here, and maybe someone is looking for this stamp.

The two last pics are really really weird. Furthermore the seller is selling the parts separately, which is sad to me.
