I think this is a good example of a non-traditional military sword.

A mass-produced, machine-made item for World War II.Tsuka forged from a single piece of aluminum. Copper fuchi with Arsenal stamps and identical numbers on the blade and steel saya. Naturally, no hammon is present because Blade is maschine made

An original Type 95 was made by Suya Shop Co., Ltd., 株式會社壽屋商店 under Tōkyō 1st Army Arsenal 東京第一陸軍造兵廠 supervision.
