When i saw the pic i thought its very curved and thought it could be the images, then read 1.75" (4.44cm) and thought that's very curved, like a banana,

 

If in the past someone was struck by that sword, there's a good chance it missed and they got away.

:laughing: I dont think this blade is from far past. There is always possibility that blade was made for shrine but why was shortened? At best its meiji forgery imo. I even asked seller one simple question :rofl:

The original owner threw it away…but it came back…

It's crazy that he paid 1.4M yen for this sword, and with the Jauce fees on top of that. I wouldn't think he'll recoup his $11K back on eBay. It'll be interesting  to see how much it goes for.

 

He already relisted it this morning.

Yeah he explained that he added worldwide shipping :laughing: thats why he relisted. Funny description mentioning many examples when buyers scam sellers??? I thought that buyer must pay before shipment on ebay so where is space for scammers here.
