WWII items

I live in Indiana and don't know who to trust with my father's WWII items.

Katana, sword in great condition, metal sheath can use a little restoration.  Two other knives and a Japanese flag with writing on it.  Would like appraisals too.  I have a US war Department form listing items my father returned with.
