figure out what the gold item are at bottom

The item at the bottom of the tsuba looks to be 竹蛇籠 (takejakago) – gabion.

"Takejakago" (竹蛇籠) translates to "bamboo snake basket" in English and refers to a traditional Japanese flood control structure 

used for erosion control and water management in rivers.
