Widok4 Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Corporate Logos - Suya Sword Shop (Suya Token Shoten), Tokyo. Because of its resemblance to the musical instrument, Western collectors sometimes refer to this logo as the Suya "harp" logo. I used to have a Yasukuni (Yasumitsu, last known to be owned by Chris Bowen) with this mark on the tsuba. Pete Quote
george trotter Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 Hi, i also have noticed this mark on officer's gunto tsubas...but also of interest, it is not uncommon on the fuchi of NCO sword handles. I suppose Suwa had an officer's supply shop, but also a factory making fuchi and perhaps other sword parts for the military? Regards, George. Quote
