that looks a bit like a KO-WAKIZASHI if it had more than 303 mm in length. The signature is difficult to read, it could be that one KANJI is hidden by the NAKAGO ANA. Might be easier for us if you put the photo upright (tip upwards) and use better lighting (from the side). Strange NAKAGO JIRI shape!

 

What is a SHINOBI TANTO?
