Adrian S Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 I'm trying to figure out what this says, I think it may be some type of tameshigiri mei?? anybody out there got a translation for me Quote
Nobody Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 The characters seem to be 両曲輪落. It may reads Ryo Kuruwa Otoshi, though I am unsure about its reading. If it is a tameshigiri mei, 両曲輪 must be a name of a part of a body. But I do not know what it means. Quote
Adrian S Posted November 22, 2006 Author Report Posted November 22, 2006 thanks nobody, I got it now. It means "Hip Cut through" Quote
Rabro Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 Hi Adrian, I just noticed your logo and was wondering if you recently bought this daisho set or sold it? Roger Quote
Nobody Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 thanks nobody, I got it now. It means "Hip Cut through" Hi Adrian, I found that Ryoguruma (両車) means hips in Tameshigiri mei, though I am unsure about its reading. But I could not find Ryo Kuruwa (両曲輪). Does it hava the same meaning? Quote
Adrian S Posted November 22, 2006 Author Report Posted November 22, 2006 You are right, I found Ryo Kuruma in hawleys but the characters are different to Ryo Kuruwa. Still don't have an answer. Rabro, Yes I collect daisho fittings and I recently bought this set Quote
