kusunokimasahige Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 Indeed two of the best books out there on the subject and trauma. The Tojo government did rape the rules of bushido. it was a terrible era, also for many of the Japanese soldiers, and just as it is not well known that the Japanese soldiers on the Birma line suffered much hardship and famine too, the Kamikaze and what they experienced were also left out of many investigations.. The victors who wrote history for a long time totally neglected the fact that for the regular Japanese soldier and civilian, Tojos rule was just as criminal as the victims of the Japanese experienced it.
