Tsuba Opinion

Hi all,

 

I know very little about Tsuba's but something about this one just doesnt seem right. Opinions would be welcomed (ps i dont own the tsuba)

Rob,

Nope...it doesn't look right. Aside from the recent rust and dirt, there is something about the lines that don't ring true. They look cut with machine tools and the whole thing just doesn't have a flow or sense of artistry. Might look different once cleaned up, but doubt it. Sometimes you just have to go with your gut feel.

I agree. It rather looks as if it has been made with a pastry cutter! John L.
