NewB Posted June 3, 2021 Report Posted June 3, 2021 Bienvenido, Which one appears wrong. It'd help me sort out what I am shipping to Japan.. eventually I appreciate any input John Quote
Ken-Hawaii Posted June 3, 2021 Report Posted June 3, 2021 John, they could all be gimei, or none of them. When doing kantei, the nakago is one of the last places to look, & needs to be cross-referenced with the rest of the blade. On shipping tp Japam, I hope you know that you MUST have an egent, right? 1 Quote

That was mentioned, I didn't know. The website speaks that all even TH can be submitted by non members (for an extra fee). To me shizu hozon is nothing but pure joy, you know - it'd be enough, plus I am in no rush. Covid is getting defeated slowly but surely so I believe it'd be better for the post also. I feel like I'd love to have a trustworthy person that'd work in the honor of the blades but if not, NTHK would be sufficient enough. We shall see! John Quote
Ken-Hawaii Posted June 3, 2021 Report Posted June 3, 2021 Don't know which Web-site you were looking at, but no Nihonto can enter or leave Japan without a registered agent. Check out Bob Benson's https://bushidojapaneseswords.com/nbthk-shinsa-submission.html for more detailed info. Quote
NewB Posted June 3, 2021 Author Report Posted June 3, 2021 Thank you very much. He has always been my first choice. John Quote
