Edo period. Everyday Japanese life (Geisha photos would be nice)...Samurai photos for sure.​

have photo of couple Buddhist monks w/baskets over their head pleading for alms - not sure of date but probably 1890-1910 era - think the writing was by maybe a European ? reminds me of a cousin who writes to me in English but not sure of that.
