Kitakaze Posted July 9, 2020 Report Posted July 9, 2020 Does anyone know of a saya maker in Canada? Since I practice iaido with my shinken regularly, I have worn one of the saya out after ten years of practice and need a new one. I can't send my sword back to Japan as it is Japanese made so I am hoping to find someone in this country who can make one to fit. Thanks for any help. Quote
AntiquarianCat Posted July 10, 2020 Report Posted July 10, 2020 It seems like Fred Lohman can replace missing koshirae with modern replica at what seems to be a decent price http://www.Japanese-swords.com/index.htm I’ve never used his services so I can’t vouch for them but it seems okay to me for replacing a damaged Saya.
