I noticed this article in June TB titled Awataguchi Hisakuni... Can somebody tell me what this article is about and what the picture captions are telling us? If interesting enough, I will ask Marcus for a translation.

The gist of the article is talking about a visit to a Jinja in Roppongi bearing the name of Hisakuni (Awataguchi). The temple was moved to its current location in Kanpo 1.

The name comes from a Hisakuni tachi that was donated to the temple by Ota Dokan the builder of Edo castle. It was preserved during the WW2 air raids, and it is not shown in public now.
