Ron STL Posted July 11, 2018 Report Posted July 11, 2018 I noticed this article in June TB titled Awataguchi Hisakuni... Can somebody tell me what this article is about and what the picture captions are telling us? If interesting enough, I will ask Marcus for a translation. Thanks, Ron STL Quote
mywei Posted July 12, 2018 Report Posted July 12, 2018 The gist of the article is talking about a visit to a Jinja in Roppongi bearing the name of Hisakuni (Awataguchi). The temple was moved to its current location in Kanpo 1. The name comes from a Hisakuni tachi that was donated to the temple by Ota Dokan the builder of Edo castle. It was preserved during the WW2 air raids, and it is not shown in public now. 1 Quote
Ron STL Posted July 13, 2018 Author Report Posted July 13, 2018 Thanks Matt. Would be interesting to read but will most likely leave it alone. Always take note of Hisakuni material. Ron STL Quote
