kelibus Posted April 28, 2018 Report Posted April 28, 2018 Hi! This piece comes from a old militarymuseum, it´s note it comes from a officer in Russio - Japanese war, a gift to the museum year 1920, and have belongs to a Japanese cadett, can it be true it is from a Japanese naval officer sword? PNSSHOGUN Posted April 28, 2018 Report Posted April 28, 2018 I think this is a European sword knot rather than a specific Japanese style. However the Japanese used mostly European regalia and often Officers were trained in Europe so it isn't out of the question a Japanese officer had it. Quote
kelibus Posted April 28, 2018 Author Report Posted April 28, 2018 Thanks John for the answer, I would search for a european sword knot to found out were it belongs, I hade hope it was a sword knot from the Japanese forces. Best regards Claes Quote
