Teimei Posted March 5, 2018 Report Posted March 5, 2018 Hello, i recently bought a new tsuba, that came with an old box. The outside just mentions the mei of the tsuba "Kishu ju Sadanaga" if i am not mistaken. On the inside of the lid is quite a long text, which i am not able to translate. It would be awesome if others could help me with a rough translation. Thanks in advance ! regards, Quote
Bugyotsuji Posted March 6, 2018 Report Posted March 6, 2018 The description in English is already on the web, Florian. Inside the box it says 丸形 Marugata (round shape) 鉄地 Tetsuji (iron ground) 舵地 Kaji-ji (rudder background) 透 sukashi (cut out) 銘 mei 紀州住 Kishu ju 貞命 Sadanaga 作 Saku 2 Quote
