6 Iron Tsubas From Collection

Hello, iron Tsubas are not something special, but it will be very good if they get few profesional terminology words and posible period. No.3 is made by is pressed iron. I am not specialist about Tsubas, so any information on collection will be good for me.

When you say 3 is pressed do you mean cast?  4 the seppa dai indicates Namban as does the carving on 6, both of which I like.   I think 6 might have been a Heianjo tsuba that has lost all it's inlay.

N.2 owari?, the heinjajo in deplorable conditions is the 5, 6 is a lovely namban tsuba.

Sorry, my mistake, 5 is the Heianjo and it does look pretty much gone.  I think the carving on 6 particularly is rather fine.

Yes, number 3. is cast iron, visible connection line in the midle section.

Hi Bojan,

my best guess about your tsuba:

#1 Kinai (記内),  daikon no zu tsuba - 大根図鐔

#2 Owari (尾張) or Kyō-sukashi (京透),  itomaki sukashi tsuba - 糸巻透鐔

#3 if not cast it could have been an Akasaka tsuba

#4 Nanban (南蛮),  unryū no zu tsuba - 雲龍図鐔

#5 Heianjō (平安城)

#6 more Hizen (肥前) than simply Namban,  ryū ni shachihoko karakusa sukashi tsuba - 龍に鯱唐草透鐔
