Could some one clarify the Mei, as this not one of my strong points, if it is correct then which one could he be? Its Nagasa is 28cm its total length is 38.5cm, would you class this as a Tanto or a short Wakizashi? Your help would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance Frank Quote
raaay Posted February 13, 2008 Report Posted February 13, 2008 Hi Frank just a quick reply from work can not see the mei well but could the second kanji be Toshi ? and if a blade is under 300mm i.e. 12"" it would be usually classed as Tanto regards ray Quote
