For Sale, A very nice sword by one of the Kaneuji line of sword smiths from Mino province .The Kaneuji line of sword smiths goes all the way back to the Yamato Shizu smith Kaneuji who was one of the ten disciples of Masamune. I am not sure as to which Kaneuji made this O-Wakizashi, A wakizashi that’s close to the length of a katana is called a o-wakizashi and at 59cm nagasa it is just 1cm under a katana at 60cm. Its 70.2cm long  I think it is Kanbun Shinto (1661-1673) going by its sugata. There were a number of smiths who signed with this mei during the Edo period so will need to do a bit more work to narrow it down. It has Mokume hada, the hamon is Suguha and in older polish it has a shallow sori and medium kissaki the saya has a red and black mix in the lacquer work which is in good condition. I think it’s a nice Mino work at a good price will leave on the NMB for a few weeks then off to eBay. Credit Card or PayPal is OK

Price-$2600
