lonely panet Posted June 8, 2015 Author Report Posted June 8, 2015 thanks joe, but you can compare the too, condition condition condition. the one sold on ebay hasn't be cleaned, buffed, brasso-ed. etc. considering its in the condition its inn, with a traditional blade instead of the normal plain blacksmith made blade. this makes a bloody rare piece, if your interested in meiji military swords. there are more naval dirks on ebays asking some what high prices considering they were made in the 100,000's and the supply is good, compare this to meiji period swords with traditional mounted blades!. its a long walk between drinks if that's what you looking for regards H Quote
SwordGuyJoe Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 Obviously, I see the difference, but I didn't know what made this a gem to you. Quote
lonely panet Posted June 10, 2015 Author Report Posted June 10, 2015 if your not a lover of meiji imperial swords, its hard to see the interest, but its rare, just like the admirals dress sword I posted earler. its the same with yagu tusba, some see crap others see beauty but if any members have a nice meiji police sword, let me know regards H Quote
