nihonto1001 Posted December 23, 2014 Report Posted December 23, 2014 I am looking for a gunto tsuka with the high red copper fittings typically used on Railway Swords. The original was undoubtedly hijacked. An example of such can be seen here: http://armsandantiques.com/minty-wwii-Japanese-mantetsu-sword-katana-j302 Notice the menuki; one is gold, the other is red copper color. Also, the copper of the fuchi kashira are more red in color than typical shingunto fittings.
