"Blue steel"

Hi All,

A blue steel is sometime use as a kantei point for swords by Koyama Munetsugu but with modern polish is it still possible to see this effect or does it require a particular type of light source that are strong enough to view it?

Forget it, unless you have seen tenth of swords by koyama munetsugu, you won't be able to make the difference.
