I have been asked to assist with yet another translation on a WWII bringback. This sword has a nice tsuba but is missing the tsuka now. The blade is in desperate need of a polish as the hamon can barely be seen.

I would really appreciate some help with the translation!

Mike

i would have to second that. also im no expert but mei seems a little new for a 14th century smith, again just my opinion. I do believe he was the son of Nagamitsu and third generation Osafune school 1321-1362 again thats the smiths history from what i know but not saying thats the swords :D but i may be wrong, im sure someone with knowledge will tune in , Jeremy
