post-3117-14196846909769_thumb.jpgHi its Steveb1 I have a katana which I think is signed Geishu No Ju Fujiwara Fuyu Hiro, :sorry: but I cannot seem to find any information on which Fuyuhiro this is could someone confirm my translation and tell me a little more about when it was made etc.

It's difficult to say definitely from your blurred pic, but it seems to be as you say: "Geishu ju Fujiwara Fuyuhiro".

There were 9 generations of this line between 1596-1864 in Awa province, which is your line.

No pics of mei that I can find but the only generation mentioned as signing with "Fujiwara" is the 3rd (1661-1675) in Hawley 1981 FUY 4.

I would think that other generations probably used "Fujiwara" as well, so it could be any of them.
