  1. in the seller's website
  2. This sword should be Awataguchi school (1830), so I the seller website....muneyachi is found in this ?
  3. So for you something is wrong here? I can ask for (if there is) a new polish of the blade or not, maybe "yes" because the sward is with togishi (Italian or Japanese?) certificate (without hozon paper). Muneyaki I dont' know This could be Shinshinto blade 1830 circa (for the seller)
  4. thank you
  5. Maybe this is why in the USA or in other countries of UE it would be impossible to pay 5000-10000 euros for this sword...imagine with this amount you can buy something more important
  6. This sword had no Hozon paper ....only seller's guarantee and from (Italian?) togishi
  7. It is possibile translate this?
  8. In Italy swords are theoretically weapons like guns so you either buy them from someone who has the license to sell them or from a private individual who has the permits. many at their own risk buy from private individuals who shouldn't have swords and don't report them to the police or from katawiki which is made for all states but then everyone must know the laws of their own country. At least this sword is legal and therefore costs more. What I would like to know (within the limitations of the photos) is whether there aren't things that are not very convincing even from the photos. I have many books but let's say that what I have learned is not enough to notice possible rip-offs...theory but not very practical.
  9. Is the sword ok?
  10. seller's website
  11. wrong Kanji on sword or wrong on the website ?
  12. Yes it is the same
  13. what do you think of the sword that I would like to purchase??? any comments are welcome
  14. thank you very much
  15. It could be Nankai Taro Tomotaka
  16. NO HOZON PAPER
  17. The blade is UMU e without big Kizu
  18. In my country the sword is no free and It have the same regulamentation of firearms, so the price (to import and to buy it) goes UP
  19. I'm thinking to buy it but I,m scared to pay too much for it or to know (after) that something is wrong (seeing the photos) in this sword
  20. thanks John, yes I mean kozuka because there is a tanto (edo) with two of these little tools but one is lost. I ask to myself if the price is the same with two tools. Nobody can confirm the writing on katana or tell me what could I pay for it?
  21. I I would also like to ask (in general terms) how much a "sword" or a "tanto" that lacks one of those little "tools" (that can be inserted into the appropriate places) can be depreciated.
  22. This blade is UMU
  23. I am interested in this sword (...my first sword) sold without hozon paper as an Edo shinshinto blade from Nankai Taro Tomotaka (Awataguchi school) from 1830 it is in very good condition and with handle and scabbard (black simple) as shown in the photo. I would like to know: 1) if anyone can confirm the writing on the blade! 2) how much a similar blade would honestly be worth. Thank you for your help
