  1. I'm no expert but see this it could be shinto (first-middle edo)
  2. it will be the most expensive defense sword in history
  3. That is, not as a collector's sword but as a defense sword, in cases where the legal requirements exist
  4. It cuts a lot: if the sword has some defects can I use it without hesitation in condominium meetings?
  5. Are this yarisume? Another questions for you: -the grain pattern here is masame mixed with itame or itame nagare? -The kizu in the bo-hi is a future or a shinae?
  6. I thank everyone for the comments and suggestions offered. On some aspects I must confess that I am less certain than before. I think you've said it all about the kizu. I was struck by the fact that the age of the blade is now also being questioned. I'll put a few more photos on the file marks. If anyone has played with this sword maybe they will have played with these too
  7. Tanks to all
  8. Thanks Franco
  9. In my case does Bo-hi have to be to hide something? it wouldn't have hidden it well here ...anyway who can say if something came before or after?
  10. I bought this, my first katana (even if without hozon) because I liked it and knowing that the signature could be fake (many are) but at least the blade is decent. Thank you and any comments are welcome
