    thank you for the quick response! Geraint, those two pieces are actually stateside and are currently being auctioned. there are no papers with it, so basically it's What You See Is What You Get. i'm not sure if i'm allowed to divulge the auctioneer here?

    Hello all, i'm new here, and i just not too long ago got interested with Nihonto. so new in fact that i don't own a piece yet. at this point i'm browsing online and came across these two pieces; a katana and a wakizashi. i showed it to a friend of mine, but he told me they're not bad pieces, but i do need to have the signature double check by one of you guys to see if it's legit or not. i would really appreciate any help that i can get. if i posted this on the wrong board, my apologies. kind regards Ron
