Thanks Chris. Agree on "Masa." Digging deeper. If it is "masanobu," I'm wondering which one? Also not sure whether this is a machine or handmade blade. The Hada looks suspect but I'm just a beginner. Difficult to see any grain. I posted a few more pics. Debating whether it's worth $2,300. Thoughts?
