    hello Eric, maybe some warning on the use of Break Free CLP, this oil and lubricant has some cleaining substances in itself that dillutes soft metals i think ( such as lead, copper etc) while top as a gun !! oil , maybe care should be taken for the use on nihonto and especially kodogu ( tsuba, fuchi etc). correct me if i'm wrong gents, maybe someone more specialized than me can answer here greatings pepe (werner)

    hello guys , thank already for helping, i looked google for yoshitoyo and found there was a yoshitoyo in the osaka-school , a painter and poet, lived from 1830 till only 1866, i not know this has something in relation to this , but on the kogatanas handle there is o poem very much the same writing style then his paintings, i send a picture from a painting and my kogatana for resamblance, NMB is an awsome site, greetings pepe

    hello jean, thank for your help, i think the M is from MINAMOTO, trying to find Y.....+......now, is the text on the nakago from the kogatana also real?, the kogatana comes from the sword with the dragonfly koshirae in topic tosogu i asked about maintenance koshirae pepe, ps i think Y is from Yoshi???????

    what can i do for best protect koshirae as this, iron with shakudo, or simple iron kozuka, can i use oil? (wd40?), for prevent from oxidizing (rust), thanks already guys, greetings pepe
