  18. Yes it is Kuninori not Kuninobu also it is the same smith as the Tanto MarcoUdin showed . Just has not much about him .He did win 3 gold and 2 silver medals in the Japanese swords exhibition and was ka shibata student so he may of been a good smith.

  20. I have found a shortened sword with a very wild Choji Juka Hamon its now 53cm long . Is this Hamon in the style of the ichimonji school? Out of polish but is very bright and wild Thanks

  22. I found this at a Estate sale Auction the Saya and Tsuka are wood . The Blade is signed Osafune Suketsugu 1356-1362? or 1410-1469? in Hawleys Very sharp Has anyone seen this before? The family told me that their Grandfather married a Japanese women after the war and this was her Wedding gift from her family . Does this sound right? Was it common to be given a Tanto? Thanks Geoff
  23. I have be cleaning this sword with uchiko and now has what looks like Utsuri however it is very strong could it be tempered instead? The last few photographs some of the blade looks a bit pink the Nie reflects this colour depending the angle . Any idea what school it could be? Bizen? and age ? Thanks Geoff
