    I've had good success with Mineral oil (about $3.00 U.S. at a drug store), with 4 or 5 drops of Clove oil (can be purchased at WalMart pharmacy for about $3.00 U.S.). Curt

    Why yes Dirk, it IS Pawel Nowak from Poland...I suspect it's not legit., as he wouldn't answer 1) how he obtained my email address and 2) how he intended to ship it, etc. I am always very cautious of un-solicited offers, as I see this type of thing all the time in my business and it rarely works out well :D .

    I've been offered this sword by a guy in Poland...I suspect it's a scam but thought I'd run the Mei through folks more knowledgable than I. He states the swords were obtained in Califoria (Katana and Tanto) and they're supposedly war trophies from WWII. He sent many photos of the blade, kissaki, etc. and it appears to be decent to my un-professional eye. Does anyone recognize the signature? Thanks in advance!
