As one who's certain knowledge of Nihonto could be comfortably inscribed on one side of a cigarette paper with a carpenter's pencil, I find the subjective nature of determining what is or isn't Gimei immensely frustrating. I can't think of another book I would recommend before this one to anyone in a similar position. The book absolutely cleared up some questions I've had. Being in that exact position, I couldn't agree more. Geoff Mc
