Ian Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 Hi all There has been a few posts on mon recently, so while people are on the theme, any clues on this one? All the books I have seen so far have been without the central circle running through the oak ! Many thanks in advance Quote
Bugyotsuji Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 Hi, I can't see the central circle that you refer to, but there are 蔓 tsuru vines between the 樫 kashi/gashi oak leaves. It is a common combination with oak leaves and comes in many varieties. Look for "maru ni mittsu tsuru gashi", for example. Quote
kusunokimasahige Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 I think he means the connection of the tsuru vines which seems to run round under the kashi/gashi leaves in a circle. This might be part of the production process, but also part of the Mon itself, am not sure about this one... KM Quote
