Tang stamp?

I have been noticing a stamp on some very crude WWII era swords. By looking at the blade quality and fittings it seems that these are not Chinese copies, but I have never seen this stamp in any books before. Any thoughts on it?

yep, right.

Easy to recgnise by the shapeless nakago and the crude binding.
