sabi Posted May 2 Report Posted May 2 A masterpiece tea bowl by one of the most highly regarded contemporary makers of chawan. This is an early piece from the beginning of his journey pursuing the Raku forms of Chojiro and Koetsu, quiet and humble much like the potter himself. Thin walled, light in the hand and soft to the touch but with a distinct ruggedness from the clay, it masterfully blends the two styles. Measures 12 x 9cm and in perfect condition with its original signed box. $300 shipped to the USA, international buyers please contact me for a quote. Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional pics. Thanks for looking! 🙇 1 Quote
