Hi Piers!

Out of the three small collections posted by me recently the one in first pic with molds included seemed most interesting. Here is a photo of that stuff from the backside. Guess closeup on the netsuke reveal its a "modern" production?

Yes and yes. You bought the first lot? It’ll be interesting to see what you discover once they’re in your hands.

The ‘netsuke’ resembles those made in Hong Kong around the turn of the previous century, perhaps 1900-1920…(?)

Thanks for fast answer! Yes, won that lot yesterday so will reach me early next year. The other two lots didnt attract me. Happy if that netsuke has that age anyhow!! Very curious on the both molds of course. Will certainly post closeups when in my hands.
